Release 3.0
What's new with release 3.0?
- Tunnel persistence.
- Config-Mode support.

Release 3.00 build 002 (Dec. 2009)
- Feature: Support of PocketPC & SmartPhone in a single setup.
- Feature: Windows Mobile 6.5 supported. VPN Mobile 3.0 now supports Windows Mobile 5, Windows Mobile 6, Windows Mobile 6.1 and Windows Mobile 6.5.
- Feature: SmartPhone has a lighter user interface which makes VPN easier. Main feature available to the user includes Open and Close tunnel, enable Logs, Auto open traffic on traffic detection is set to default so that VPN tunnel as soon as VPN Mobile detects traffic to that destination.
- Known issue for SmartPhone only: VPN Configuration file produced by VPN Configurator may not work properly on SmartPhone. However, VPN Configurations produced with TheGreenBow IPSec VPN Client work fine.
Release 2.0
- Bug fixing: Wrongly display 'Certificate' instead of 'PSK' when using DES or 3DES encryption algorithms. Though, parameters were correctly taken into account.
- Bug fixing: Driver crash in some network configurations.
- Bug fixing: Activation rejected if old release number and no maintenance option purchased or maintenance expired for the license number used.
Release 2.00 build 004 (Feb. 2009)
- Bug fixing: "Console" tab disappearance after software activation on some mobile devices like HTC Touch Diamond.
Release 2.00 build 003 (Oct. 2008)
- Feature: Window Mobile 6.1 Classic and Window Mobile 6.1 Professional supported.
- Feature: HTC Touch Diamond certified.
- Feature: Tunnel persistence: Failures of the remote gateway and the selected wireless network (WiFi or GSM/GPRS, 3G) are detected.
Alternative wireless networks can then be selected automatically without the user noticing or under control of the user.
- Feature: User can force all traffic into the VPN tunnel in one click (aka. block non cipher connections).
- Feature: Config-Mode is supported allowing to synchronize DNS and WINS server addresses via the VPN gateway.
- Feature: User can launch a script upon tunnel opening event.
- Feature: VPN Mobile is now available in English, French, Deutsch, Portuguese and Spanish.
- Feature: Mode X-Auth supported.
- Feature: Auto start when Window Mobile starts.
- Feature: X-Auth login and password can be saved as long as user need them to login. This is particularly useful on unstable wireless networks.
- Improvement: User can now upload encrypted VPN Configuration files.
- Bug fixing: Un-installation not properly completed on Window Mobile 6.1.
- Bug fixing: Double systray display in some circumstances.
Release 1.2
- Improvement: Portrait mode supported.
- Improvement: Easier first installation and update. Driver installation simplified.
- Bug fixing: Unable to switch to port 4500 instead of port 500 when NAT-T required and RFC3847 negotiated with remote VPN Gateway.
Release 1.20 build 005 (Jan. 2008)
- Improvement: A GSM/GPRS, EDGE, 3G connection is automatically opened if already configured and if there is no Wi-Fi network available.
- Bug fixing: Error message “Default exchange run: doi -> initiator” resulting in tunnel failing to open in some mobile network configuration.
- Bug fixing: Tunnels failed when overall extensive memory resource usage in the mobile device. System error
message might popup if Error Reporting option is enabled in Windows Mobile.
- Bug fixing: Driver installation improvement (TyTN II bug).
Release 1.20 build 002 (Oct. 2007)
- Improvement: Software try to reconnect to new interface when IP address changes.

- Improvement: "Apply" button usable only when needed (i.e. Pre-Shared Key, or Gateway has been modified).
- Bug fixing: Driver not found during installation on non English Windows Mobile devices.
- Bug fixing: Crash when trying to display connection list while software is launched in some circumstances.
